Certified Animal Rehabilitation Practitioners

Jonna L. Kanable, CCRP

A certified animal rehabilitation practitioner, Jonna Kanable has been part of the Atlanta Animal Rehabilitation and Fitness staff since 2007. Originally from Indiana, Jonna attended Ball State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1994. She went on to attend the University of Tennessee and is a certified animal massage therapist and a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner.

Jonna has a special interest in helping her overweight patients achieve their ideal weight so they can enjoy a healthy life. She finds it especially rewarding when she helps patients with chronic pain improve their function and comfort while decreasing or eliminating the need for drug treatments.

Jodi Beetem, RVT, CCRP

Jodi Beetem graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a degree in veterinary technology in 2005, passing her boards shortly thereafter to become a registered veterinary technician. After graduation Jodi moved to Columbia, Missouri to work as the small animal orthopedic surgery technician at the University of Missouri. There she specialized in orthopedic surgical assisting and post operative care of orthopedic surgery patients.

In 2008, Jodi was accepted into the canine rehabilitation certification program at the University of Tennessee. She completed all of the requirements and passed the exams to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in December 2008. Jodi has always had a passion for working with and treating animals. Her professional goal is to help patients recover faster, live longer and become healthier.
